Who can use HalalRoommate

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. One account per person. Keep your login credentials private.

What you can post

Only accurate, first-hand listings for rooms you can lawfully rent or offer to share. No fake listings, no bait-and-switch pricing, no listings you have already rented out. Photos must be of the actual property.

What you can't do

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against another member.
• Solicit payment or deposits off-platform before you've met in person.
• Post commercial services, dating requests, or content unrelated to shared living.
• Scrape, resell, or automate access to HalalRoommate.

HalalRoommate is a marketplace, not an agent

We help members find each other. We do not screen tenants or landlords, we do not hold deposits, and we are not a party to any rental agreement you enter. Do your own diligence — see our Safety Center for guidance.

Moderation

We may remove listings, messages, or accounts that violate these terms or endanger the community. We may act on reports from members without notice when warranted.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, HalalRoommate is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the marketplace or any interaction with another member.
